The role reports to a Food Service Director and requires prior institutional food service or restaurant experience. Onsite work, with emphasis on teamwork and adaptability, is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 18 years or older.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen team during food prep and service.
• Serve meals according to planned schedules and procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook and portion foods.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment.
