Food Service Supervisor - Eastern Kentucky University

Under the guidance of a manager, you will oversee staff, coordinate operations, and collaborate with teammates. We look forward to supporting your growth and passion.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Produce and maintain work schedules, prepare production sheets and recipes.
  2. Direct daily activities and ensure food safety and quality according to policies.
  3. Ensure safe storage of food items and proper serving according to menu specifications.
  4. Maintain health and safety standards, accurate inventory, and equipment logs.
  5. Supervise, evaluate, and mentor staff, promoting teamwork and morale.
  6. Maintain a safe working environment and complete all required logs and checks.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned, including filling in for absent staff and attending meetings.
Qualifications
  • Ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
  • Completion of a sanitation course within the first year.
  • Knowledge of efficient, cost-effective food service operations.
  • Basic arithmetic skills, emotional control under stress, and strong organizational skills.
