Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Work setting: Restaurant.
• Experience: 2 to less than 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Prepare and submit reports.

Supervision

• 5-10 people, including cooks, food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, food preparers, and kitchen helpers.

Work Conditions and Personal Attributes

• Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and physical demands such as standing for extended periods.

Work Location and Compensation

• Location: Prince George, BC
• On-site work
• Salary: $21.00/hour for 32 to 40 hours per week
