Job summary

Trinity Services Group is hiring a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and the kitchen team inside a jail/correctional facility in Bozeman, MT. You will prepare and serve meals, follow recipes, and train staff while ensuring compliance with food handling regulations.

The role requires open availability between 5:30am and 2:00pm, some weekends and holidays, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. Benefits include medical, 401(k), PTO and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

About This Position

***Must have open availability to work between the hours of: 5:30am - 2:00pm (some weekends and Holidays required)***

The Food Service Supervisor oversees inmate labor and team members assisting with the food service operation in a correctional facility. You will also prepare and serve a variety of food items following assigned work instructions and menus and use a variety of food preparation utensils and machines in preparing food.

You will report to a Food Service Director. You will work onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts in the kitchen.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes. Use proper utensils to serve menued portions to meet clients' nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
• Physical demands include items such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• Required:
