Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist with food preparation, maintain meal records, and help manage daily reports. The role emphasizes sanitation, kitchen safety, and adherence to meal schedules while supporting a clean, efficient kitchen environment.

The successful candidate will follow safety regulations, assist in equipment use, and coordinate with the manager to prepare daily menus and ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of working quickly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal.
• Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Timely preparation of a variety of food items, beverages, and more.
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and cooking equipment.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage.
• Follow uniform policy and connect with the Manager daily to prepare the menu.
• Supervise temperature requirements and maintain a clean work area.
• Scrub counters and sanitize equipment; perform sweeping and ware washing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
