Job summary

• Previous food service experience in healthcare, hotel, restaurant or fast food is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, present and serve meals with quality, ensuring proper presentation.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays between stations, maintaining safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas with proper wrapping, dating and rotation.
• Set up items for purchase on a daily basis.
• Perform general cleaning duties and remove trash to designated areas.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Ensure proper food temperatures and portion control; notify cooks if out of range.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner at the counter.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay information to supervisor.
• Assure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
