Job summary

MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Food Service Associate to join our team. The position supports preparation, distribution, and sanitation for patient meals, guests, and catering events in a fast-paced environment.

Per diem schedule with base pay range $14.65–$25.64 hourly, with additional differentials depending on shift and holidays; employees enjoy a comprehensive total rewards package.

Qualifications

• Ability to think and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• High School graduate or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and beverages for distribution to patients, residents, guests, service/dining areas, and catering services.
• Store food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and areas according to policies and procedures.
• Assist with cashiering, waiting tables, tray line delivery, and catering events as assigned.
• Assist with sanitation duties, including dish washing and maintaining work and food service areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
