Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring Food Service Workers for the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK. Positions are available as full-time and part-time, with a pay range of $12.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Shifts may vary, Monday through Friday, and applications are accepted online. Responsibilities include food Prep, serving, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards while providing friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
