Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist the manager with food and meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and help complete daily reports. The role emphasizes high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

You'll support daily operations, ensure proper food handling, and follow department policies while maintaining a clean, organized work area and adhering to the company’s safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate as needed.
• Sufficient education or training to read, write.
• Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal.
• Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and policies.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Timely preparation of a variety of food items and beverages.
• Add garnishments to ensure customer happiness and eye appeal.
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators and equipment.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation and handling.
• Adhere to the uniform policy.
• Communicate with the Manager daily to plan the menu.
• Supervise food temperature requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work/storage area.
• Scrub and sanitize counters and steam tables.
• Follow procedures for cleanliness and safety; sweep and mop.
• Maintain garbage collection site and kitchen floors neat.
• Perform other duties including other kitchen areas.
