Job summary

Aramark Corporation seeks a Food Service Worker to assist the manager with meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and support daily reports. You will uphold high standards of food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety.

Responsibilities include preparing quality food, storing items sanitary, serving as scheduled, and supervising cleanliness and equipment care. Daily interactions with the manager ensure accurate menu planning and safe practices.

Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate as needed.
• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods per menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal.
• Ensure storage of food in a sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and department policies.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Timely preparation of various food items and beverages.
• Add garnishments to enhance customer happiness.
• Coordinate major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and uniform policy.
• Connect with the Manager daily to prepare the day’s menu.
• Maintain strict food temperatures and clean work areas.
• Scrub and sanitize counters and steam tables; sweep and wash ware.
• Maintain a neat garbage site and kitchen floors.
