LSU Health New Orleans Division of Auxiliary Enterprises/Dining Services is seeking motivated applicants for the position of Food Service Specialist 1, 2 or 3 in New Orleans. There are multiple vacancies within a Career Progression Group; the level will depend on experience.

The role requires standing up to 8 hours daily and lifting up to 75 lbs. Training in related fields may substitute for some experience, and a Special Entrance Rate (SER) applies with additional longevity pay.

Competenze

• One year of food service experience in a commercial, industrial, military or institutional operation.
• Training in food technology or related curriculum may substitute for experience.
• No formal degree required; education may substitute for experience per policy.

Mansioni

• Perform basic level food service preparation duties.
• Comply with policies and procedures of the dining operation.
• Assist in maintaining safety and sanitation standards.
