Description

The Food Service Representative reports to the Food Service Lead or Manager and is responsible for operating the Food Service during their shift.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Prerequisites:

  • High school diploma or relevant experience in retail, convenience, or food service industry
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality
  • Positive attitude, team player, and promotes the company
  • Well-organized with good time management skills
  • People management skills
  • Flexible availability, including working all shifts and days, possibly exceeding 40 hours during busy times
  • Ability to work alone or in groups
  • Good personal hygiene
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet customers friendly and provide prompt, courteous service
  • Follow dress code and health regulations, including wearing hairnet, apron, tucked-in shirts, and name badge
  • Develop customer relationships by recognizing regulars and learning their preferences
  • Provide the best buying experience and maximize sales and profits
  • Complete daily and weekly food service paperwork as assigned
  • Follow recipes, procedures, and proper food handling practices
  • Maintain cleanliness standards: clean spills, sanitize utensils, restock supplies, keep area clean, and maintain proper food temperatures
  • Report maintenance, safety incidents, or injuries to the Manager
  • Assist in opening and closing food service operations if applicable or in emergencies
  • Record waste and handle merchandise appropriately
  • Complete reports accurately and timely
  • Adhere to all company policies
  • Participate in other related tasks as needed by management
