Job summary

Joe V’s Smart Shop, a division of H-E-B, in Cedar Park, TX, is seeking a Food Service Representative to stock and maintain a well-kept department while delivering outstanding customer service. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily, ensuring all food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with selections, using basic inventory systems, and supporting Bakery, Deli, and Prepared Foods as needed.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ as a minimum requirement
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• Reading and writing skills are required
• Planning and organizing abilities are required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent required
• Completion of Company Orientation and food safety training upon hire

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service in-person and by telephone
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product daily
• Maintain department cleanliness and food safety/sanitation standards
• Assist in Bakery, Deli, and Prepared Foods as needed
• Operate ordering systems and inventory processes as required
