Job summary

Aafes is hiring Food Service Workers at Fort Irwin, CA to join the Exchange team. You will greet customers, assist with orders, and ensure a friendly, efficient experience in fast-paced locations like Starbucks and Burger King.

Intermittent hours (0–34 weekly) offer flexible scheduling; prior fast food experience is a plus and base access is required. We provide competitive benefits and opportunities to grow within the DoD community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Intermittent positions: 0–34 hours weekly.
• Must have access to the military installation (military ID, Real ID, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with eye contact and smile.
• Acknowledge every waiting customer at the register.
• Listen to customer needs and ask follow-up questions.
• Ensure customers have an extraordinary experience while shopping.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers.
