Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal and ensure accurate serving.
• Store food in an accurate and sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and department policies.
• Care for kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Prepare a variety of food items, beverages, and garnishments.
• Coordinate and assist in cleaning of refrigerators, freezers and equipment.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Follow uniform policy and daily menu directions.
• Connect with the Manager daily to prepare the day’s menu.
• Monitor food temperature requirements and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned including other kitchen areas.
