Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate and ability to read, write and follow instructions.
• Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure.
• Sufficient education or training to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods per menu.
• Prepare a daily report verifying transactions.
• Store food in sanitary, accurate conditions.
• Serve food according to schedules and policies.
• Care for kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Prepare a variety of food items and beverages timely.
• Add garnishments to enhance presentation and appeal.
• Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Follow food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Adhere to uniform policy and daily manager communication.
• Monitor food temperatures and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain organized work and storage areas.
• Scrub counters, sanitize steam tables and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and perform ware washing per procedures.
• Maintain neat garbage collection areas.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
• Role may include lifting, bending, PPE usage, standing for long periods.
