Job summary

Sodexo seeks a Second-in-command for Resident Dining in New Jersey. You will oversee the 1855 Dining Room, Resident Dining Café, and C-Store, leading daily operations, ensuring service excellence, and driving high-quality dining for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or equivalent experience in food service management.
• 2 years management experience; 1 year related experience specified.

This position supports revenue and profit goals through disciplined execution of programs, safety standards, and daily operational oversight while fostering an engaged, high-performing team.Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities.
