Food Service Manager

Are you passionate about elevating food service operations and creating memorable culinary experiences? Dandy is seeking a dynamic Food Service Manager to lead our team to new heights of excellence. Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to improve, grow, and elevate food service operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health Department regulations and company policies regarding food safety standards.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and enforce adherence to recipes and quality assurance standards among team members.
• Train and develop staff on food service operations, including proper food handling procedures and recipe execution.
• Manage daily prep lists, temperature logs, and other assigned tasks, delegating effectively to team members.
• Oversee all aspects of food ordering from vendors, including inventory management and cost control.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and collaborate on action plans to reduce inventory shrinkage.
• Occasionally assist with register operations, but primarily focus on kitchen operations.
• Prioritize urgency in food & beverage preparation to ensure timely service to customers.
• Ensure proper products are available on grab-and-go shelves at appropriate times.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations, certification preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with inventory management and cost control techniques.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be upbeat, personable, and dedicated to creating a memorable customer experience.
• Currently ServSafe certified or willing to obtain certification within 3 months of employment.
