Job summary

Jimmy John's seeks a General Manager to oversee all facets of in-store operations, ensuring staff scheduling, food safety, and inventory control are executed flawlessly. The GM will drive COGS management, cash handling, and brand compliance while maintaining exceptional store condition and high performance from employees.

Candidate must be self-motivated with strong leadership, capable of teaching and training across roles, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Bonus eligibility is offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a 40+ hour week is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver license.
• Jimmy John Manager Certification and ServSafe Manager Certification are required.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to train and supervise Assistant Manager, PIC, InShopper and Delivery Driver roles as needed.
• Capable of handling fast-paced, high-stress store environments and organizing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of in-store operations including staffing/scheduling, food safety, inventory and stock ordering, COGS management, cash handling and brand compliance.
• Ensure the store is in exceptional order and that employees perform duties properly and efficiently.
• Lead with integrity, implement systems and procedures, and coach staff to meet targets.

Job description

General Managers oversee all aspects of in-store operations, including but not limited to staffing/scheduling, food safety, inventory/stock ordering, COGS management, cash handling and brand compliance.

The General Manager is responsible for ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. General Managers must be self-motivated individuals who have superior leadership skills and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. This is a Bonus-eligible position.

Additional Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver license, car and clean driving record
• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F

Requirements
