Food Service Leader 2 - Wisconsin Resource Center
WRC is part of the Division of Care and Treatment Services (DCTS). WRC is the largest psychiatric facility in the state and is the only secure treatment facility in Wisconsin that specializes in treating individuals with severe mental health conditions referred by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and the community.

As a Food Service Leader 2, you will be responsible for training, leading and directing residents in the distribution and service of food and the performance of related sanitation activities within the Food Service areas.
The starting pay is $21.53 per hour, plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required.
Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. These positions are classified as Corrections Food Service Leader 2s and are in pay schedule and range 03/12.
All applicants who may be appointed to these positions will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.
All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by WRC or medical personnel approved by the facility within 30 days of the start date.
These positions have physical requirements which may include but are not limited to lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing and pulling loaded food carts, bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, standing, sitting and working on feet for extended periods of time. Applicants may be required to pass a physical evaluation to assess these requirements.
DHS does not sponsor work visas for this position, thus, in compliance with federal law, selected candidates will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States by completing the required I-9 form upon hire.
