Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Food Service Worker in South Carolina to assist with food prep, portioning meals, and serving customers. Responsibilities include food preparation, station setup, portion control, maintaining temperature logs, quality checks, and customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food Service Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of and assist in preparation of food items for the day and dating products.
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager.
• Cook and otherwise prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Responsible for accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving customers.
• Alert management to items that do not meet quality expectations.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Greet customers as they approach and leave the serving line.
• Handle customer complaints with a positive attitude and smile.
• Maintain clean work station and sanitation throughout the location.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste from the service line.
• Move supplies between storage and work areas as needed.
• Assist with daily safety observations and report hazards.
• Cross-train in areas as needed.
• Work in concessions, catering, and special events as required.
• Perform tasks requested by supervisor or Aramark management.
