Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Food Service Worker to assist with food prep, portion meals, and serve customers. You’ll learn on the job with guidance from a manager and join a team that values organization, accountability, and a positive attitude.

The role covers various dining stations, quality control, and customer interactions. Willingness to cross-train and support concessions, catering, and events is expected of the team.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Serve Safe Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Requires frequent lifting and transporting hot food items.
• Ability to work in a kitchen with heated equipment, steam, noise and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of food preparation for the day and dating products.
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Use accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of all food items on the line before serving.
• Alert management if items do not meet quality standards.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
