The Arc of San Diego is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to support individuals with disabilities at the MCRD site. You will supervise job tasks, provide coaching, and help clients build essential vocational skills while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include documenting progress in Therap, coordinating transportation, and collaborating with a committed team to enhance client outcomes and independence.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and provide job coaching to individuals with disabilities at the MCRD site.
• Provide training to develop job skills and meet tasks as required by the Military and Sodexo.
• Assist clients in following their ISP to promote independence.
• Build positive relationships with clients, coworkers, and site staff.
• Monitor and document client progress using the Therap system.
• Ensure client safety and support them in daily activities.

About the Role:

As a Job Coach at the MCRD food service program, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they work in a food service environment. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and train clients, ensuring they successfully complete their tasks while meeting the required standards of quality and productivity. You will also help clients develop their vocational skills and integrate into the workplace, fostering positive relationships with staff and stakeholders at the site. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting client progress, providing transportation to and from the worksite, and collaborating with a dedicated team to enhance service delivery and clientoutcomes.

Location: MCRD

Schedule: Thurs- Mon 12p-7:30p

Pay: The pay for this position is $21.52 to $21.52

• Have experience with case management systems (Therap preferred).
