Job Title: Food Service Associate

Job Purpose: Every Huck's Market Food Service Associate plays a key role in ensuring the food service area operates smoothly and efficiently. By adhering to company guidelines, Associates help keep the department profitable while delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities:

• Ensure the food service department is open and ready during service hours
• Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers
• Communicate effectively with store associates
• Follow all relevant laws and regulations
• Manage food preparation to minimize waste and meet customer demand

Human Resources:

• Treat all associates with dignity and respect
• Report personnel issues or policy violations to management
• Assist in training new associates

Security:

• Follow shift procedures
• Maintain a safe shopping and working environment
• Use safety equipment and follow safety rules

Merchandising:

• Use current plan-o-grams
• Communicate special needs or requests to management
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering

Huck’s Bucks Loyalty App:

• Promote the app to customers
• Explain benefits and assist with sign-up
• Monitor for misuse of points or discounts

Maintenance:

• Maintain the appearance of food service areas
• Report maintenance issues
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation

Safety:

• Use ladders properly
• Follow lifting procedures
• Use wet floor signs as needed
• Report accidents promptly
