Job description

Assists in the preparation and service of food and in cleaning kitchen equipment; cleans dining rooms and dish closets; prepares vegetables and fruit for cooking; assists in preparing salads and desserts; supports cooks in various duties; washes dishes, pots, and pans by hand or machine; maintains cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas; may act as cashier; performs related tasks as required. This position is 4.5 hours per day at Bell Top Elementary School.

Experience as a helper in a restaurant, hotel dining room, or in general domestic work is desirable but not required.
