Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker in California to prepare and build food items while delivering a memorable guest service experience. You will adhere to food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures and support guest satisfaction across shifts.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, food prep, proper storage, and maintaining equipment and workstations. The role includes cash handling and following alcohol policies as required.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates positive guest service skills.
• Requires occasional lifting up to 25 lb.
• May be required to meet state age requirements for serving alcohol.
• May be required to obtain TIPS/ TEAM card at locations that serve alcohol.
• May be required to complete Serve Safe Food Handlers certification.

Responsibilities

• Courteously greets and assists all guests
• Takes food orders and serves guests
• Prepares and builds food items according to recipes and directions
• Stores food by applying food safety policies
• Sets up workstations including prep tables and service counters
• Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations
• Serves food to guests and ensures guest satisfaction
• Replenishes food items and maintains stock levels
• Maintains a positive, friendly service attitude toward guests and coworkers
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and alcohol policy
• Manages cash register and processes payments
• Reconciles cash to register sales and stand inventory
• Other duties as assigned by manager
