Location: New London, CT

Position: Food Service – (Dish room/General Utility)

Availability: Part time

This position is classified as a Dish/Scullery/Galley worker and General Utility person, responsible for cleaning equipment, kettles, trash, floors, the service area, dish room, pot duties, and other duties as assigned.

The facility operates seven (7) days a week from 5:30 am to 8 pm, with hours potentially varying during holiday and semester breaks based on operational needs.

Compensation:

Starting hourly rate during probation: $23.55

On-Call or new employees (defined as 1 year or less) must be available to work open/vacant shifts for both AM and PM.

Pre-requisites for employment:

1. A criminal background check will be conducted to verify employment eligibility; periodic drug testing may be required. **Drug-Free environment including any CBDs
2. Ability to twist, turn, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.; capable of standing for at least 4 hours.
3. Food Handlers certification is required. If not already obtained, it must be acquired within the first 25 days of employment.
