GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Undergeneralsupervisionofthe FoodService Supervisor,washes, cleans,and stores eatingandcookingutensils;de-limesdishwasherandmaintainsacleanroom.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Safelyoperatesinstitutionaldishwasherandusesdishdetergenttocleanandsanitizedishes,silverware,andglasses.
• Takesoutcardboardboxesdaily,whenneeded.
• Recordsdishwashertemperaturedaily.
• Scrapes,washes,stacks,andputsawaycleantrays,onbothsides.
• Washesandputsawayallpots,pansandutensils,onbothsides.
• Takesouttrashattheendoftheday.
• Drainsthedishwashingmachine DAILYandcleansthedrains.
• De-limesandcleansthedishwasherbi-weekly.
• Followsallsafetyandsanitaryrequirementsofthelunchroomarea.
• Assistinmaintainingkitchenandkitchenequipmentinacleanandsanitarymannerfollowingheathdepartmentregulations.
• ReportsallbrokenutensilstotheFoodServiceSupervisor.
• ReportsaccidentsandpotentialhazardstoFoodServiceSupervisor.
• AsrequiredbytheUSDA;mustbehave4hoursofcontinuingeducationperyear.
• Mustmoptheentirekitchenattheendoftheday,DAILY.
• Cleanbathroombi-weekly.
