Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years food service management experience.
  • ServSafe Certification or ability to complete it upon hire.

Responsibilities:

The Food Service Manager's primary responsibility is to ensure patients are provided care through various tasks such as:

  • Organizing and coordinating food service department personnel, work, and food production
  • Supervising resident meal service planning and programs
  • Planning and coordinating dietary service functions in cooperation with other departments within the facility

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years food service management experience
  • ServSafe Certification or ability to complete it upon hire
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education preferred
  • Certified Dietary Manager certification is a plus but not required
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to work with staff, residents, families, the public, and to complete documentation or reports
