Job Description

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Largo is hiring a Full-time Food Service Director (Culinary Services Coordinator). As the Food Service Director (Culinary Services Coordinator), you oversee day-to-day activities and personnel within the Dietary department for the facility. You supervise Cook(s) and Food Service Assistants, providing necessary direction and creating assigned schedules to successfully deliver overall services from the department. Because you are always in contact with residents and families, this position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism.

Job Requirements:

  1. Education: High School Diploma
  2. Skills: Must be able to follow standardized recipes. Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
  3. Years of Experience: Previous food service experience preferred.
  4. License: N/A
  5. Certification: Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.

Physical Demands: Ability to push/pull objects and lift/carry up to 50 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves during working hours.
