Job Summary

Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a dynamic and passionate Foodservice Director to oversee the daily operations of a high-volume residential dining hall at Baylor University. This role offers an opportunity to shape campus culture, mentor a talented team, and deliver an exceptional dining experience to Baylor students.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead all aspects of daily food service operations with excellence
  • Inspire and manage a team of managers, supervisors, and frontline staff
  • Ensure high-quality food and customer service experiences
  • Collaborate with culinary teams to develop nutritious, on-trend menus
  • Manage labor and food costs to ensure financial success
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Implement new culinary programs with support from marketing and innovation teams
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts preferred
  • 3-5 years of foodservice operation experience
  • Experience managing a budget
  • Desire to learn and grow within a top-tier foodservice company
