Responsibilities include:

• Participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and workflow
• Managing staff hiring, training, coaching, and termination
• Ensuring fair employment practices in accordance with laws
• Participating in departmental meetings and care plan discussions
• Purchasing food and supplies within budget
• Providing guidance on diet planning, menu formulation, and service of diets
• Planning menus in collaboration with the Dietary Consultant
• Interviewing residents or family members for diet history

• Visiting residents to evaluate meal quality and preferences
• Completing dietary documentation accurately and promptly
