Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a Food Service Director in Baltimore to oversee food service operations, ensure quality and safety, and manage menus and budgets across facilities. You will lead a team, coordinate with health and sanitation standards, and drive resident satisfaction with nutritious meals.

Qualifications

• Formal training (college degree preferred) in Culinary Arts or related fields.
• Certified as a Dietary Manager or enrolled in certification with granted within 18 months.
• Must be certified by the Maryland State approved sanitation program.
• Minimum two years of food service management experience in health care.
• Proven supervisory ability and leadership.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food service operates within budgetary guidelines.
• Direct, supervise and motivate food service workers.
• Assist in hiring, transfers, promotions, demotions or dismissal of staff.
• Maintain food quality with proper receiving, storage and prep techniques.
• Plan and review breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.
• Prepare local and State reports as required.
• Implement safety procedures per Food and Safety Health department.
• Direct expenditure of the food service budget.

Competitive Pay $29.95 - 40.86/hr

Salary Disclosure Statement

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two (2) years of food service management experience in the health care industry
• Previous supervisory skills and proven ability to lead and manage individuals
• Must have excellent communication skills
