Job summary

Spring Creek Care Center in Millcreek, Utah, is hiring a Full Time Dietary Aide to join its skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You will prepare meals, review dietary needs, assemble trays, and assist with meal delivery to residents in a compassionate, safety-conscious environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in institutional kitchen settings. Training will support professional growth and teamwork in a supportive facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or in progress.
• Experience working in institutional kitchen serving large groups is preferred.
• Experience cooking in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold meals and beverages according to menus and dietary needs.
• Review tray cards for allergies, preferences, and special instructions.
• Assemble meal trays with correct dishware and adaptive equipment.
• Serve meals and assist with delivery to residents.
• Prepare and stock snack carts.
• Clean dishes, utensils, and food prep areas after use.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and infection control procedures.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Attend trainings/meetings and support assigned tasks.

What you'll do:

What we're looking for:

• High school diploma, equivalent, or enrollment in current high school courses
• Experience working in the kitchen of institutions that provide meals to large groups on a daily basis
• Experience cooking in a Skilled Nursing Facility a plus

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:

• Exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases
• Full range of body motion including handling and lifting objects
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met
• Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility
