Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Worker/Delivery Driver to support Currituck County Jail, delivering meals to the community meals on wheels program and handling food preparation and service. You will drive a company vehicle, assist with loading, unloading, and route deliveries, and help with kitchen cleaning and maintenance.

Ideal candidates are passionate about food, have a working knowledge of food handling rules, can work independently or in a team, and are dependable,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year delivering products/inventory preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to transport and set up food and service items.
• Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules.
• Strong team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Learn the delivery area and routes.
• Check orders for quality and accuracy.
• Follow proper delivery procedures.
• Assist with food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance (cleaning, sanitizing).
• Receive food and supplies from vendors and restock.
• Transfer supplies and equipment as directed.
• Collect items needed for each site from production sheets.
• Load and unload products and deliver on time.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs to manager.
• Keep the vehicle clean and maintained.
• Stand/walk for extended periods; perform other duties as assigned.
