Job summary

Oasis Stop ’N Go in Kimberly, ID is hiring a Food Service Worker to prepare and handle foods with emphasis on safety and quality. You will provide fast, friendly service and help maintain cleanliness and food prep standards.

The role offers extensive training, opportunities within the Oasis team, and a schedule that may rotate; applicants must be at least 19 years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Self-motivated and able to complete tasks without constant direction.
• Occasionally requires lifting 50 pounds up to waist; frequently up to 25 pounds to chest or above.
• Must be in physically good shape and able to stand during entire work shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, efficient, friendly customer service. Always greeting and thanking all customers, and resolving any customer concerns that may arise.
• Report to work on time and follow uniform policies.
• Adhere to all Food Safety standards and requirements. Notify your supervisor immediately with concerns.
• Prepare hot and cold food items according to standards.
• May be responsible for preparing, packaging, and labeling of foods for distribution to multiple locations.
• Maintains cleanliness of all preparation surfaces, kitchen small-wares and equipment.
