Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a Food Service Crew Member for our Cenex Zip Trip location in Billings, MT. This full-time role involves providing friendly customer service, handling cashier duties, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

You will work with a team in a fast-paced setting, ensuring a positive customer experience while supporting promotions and inventory management. Flexible scheduling is available within a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Retail and/or Retail Merchandising and Customer Service
• Must meet minimum age requirement
• Proficient in MS Office suite
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English to customers and coworkers
• Basic math and computer skills to operate store equipment such as cash register and time & record keeping systems
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours preferred
• Pre-employment screening may be required including drug, criminal, motor vehicle checks and other requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service; greet customers promptly and courteously, assist with inventory browsing and checkout.
• Perform cashier responsibilities including accepting payments and issuing receipts.
• Display and organize products for easy shopping.
• Maintain store appearance through dusting, cleaning and restocking merchandise.
• Order merchandise and track inventory as assigned.
• Monitor customers to assist loss prevention.
• Assist with displays and promotions.
• Maintain a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
