ShopRite Canton seeks a part-time Food Service Clerk to deliver excellent customer service, prepare a variety of ready-to-eat items, and maintain a clean, safe Food Service area. You will assist the Food Service Manager, stock displays, and ensure proper product rotation and temperatures across shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Must read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must stand/walk for full shifts.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs. and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to handle fresh, dried, and processed products safely.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Able to work cooperatively with others.
• Operate department equipment (slicer, scale, can opener, etc.).
• Adhere to schedules, time/attendance policies.

Aufgaben

• Deliver attentive, friendly and knowledgeable service to customers.
• Assist Food Service Manager in daily department operations.
• Maintain clean, neat, safe work area and proper product rotation.
• Prepare products per recipes and standards (salads, sandwiches, entrees, catering, etc.).
• Ensure proper temperatures in display cases and storage areas.
• Follow procedures for receiving, storing, dating and pricing products.
• Handle damaged/unsaleable product per policy.
• Maintain signage and rotate stock as needed.
• Report equipment problems and follow QA standards.
• Comply with health, safety, and company policies.
