Summary

Food Service Clerks are primarily responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. They perform deli processing, sanitation, safety, and stocking procedures on all deli products as outlined by the company and directed by the Food Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and engage guests upon entering the area or department.
  • Follow daily work schedules as assigned by management.
  • Perform deli duties according to company guidelines to ensure guest safety, convenience, and value.
  • Maintain proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Adhere to sanitation guidelines and expectations from managers.
  • Restock supplies, wrap products, and perform clean-up duties.
  • Perform stocking duties such as unloading trucks, lifting, stocking, and rotating products.
  • Perform other duties as requested or required by management.
Key Requirements
  • Maintain a current Food Handler certification.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work up to 8-10 hours in a controlled atmosphere.
  • Work in a freezer for up to 15 minutes.
  • Operate equipment such as slicers, mixers, ovens, and food processors safely.
  • Perform physical duties including standing, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs., and reaching overhead.
  • Lift up to 80 lbs. when unloading trucks.
  • Accept supervisory coaching and work as part of a team.
