Position details:

• Enter daily lunch money for all staff and students into the Point of Sale system.
• Collect, record, and balance lunch accounts for all staff and students.
• Monitor and scan student lunch cards during all lunch periods.
• Repair and replace lunch cards as needed.
• Keep records of free and reduced-price students current and confidential.
• Run daily and monthly reports and send copies to the District Office as needed.
• Communicate with parents and staff via weekly printouts, email alerts, and phone calls regarding lunch account balances.
• Address inquiries about the National School Lunch Program and lunch accounts in a friendly and timely manner.
• Ensure all students take a reimbursable lunch with all components as defined by the program.
• Assist with wiping cafeteria tables, keeping milk coolers filled and clean.
• Support teamwork in the kitchen and cafeteria.
• Maintain a pleasant attitude with staff and students.
• Assist with lunch duties in the kitchen and cafeteria as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Physical requirements: lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, working in hot and cold kitchen conditions.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Hourly rate: $15.00
