Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK is hiring a Food Service Attendance in the Food Preparation and Service Department. Under supervision you will prepare a variety of foods requiring short preparation for patients, the public, staff and catered events, and you will serve meals and beverages.

You will follow HACCP guidelines, ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of work areas and equipment, and bring strong customer service interaction skills to every shift.

Qualifications

• Must have a National Food Handler Card – State County City Authority upon hire.
• 6 months training or on-the-job training in quantity food preparation and basic sanitation and safety in food handling.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Specific vocational training. This training can be provided in a school, work, military, institutional or vocational environment.
