We are currently hiring multiple food service roles for Plum Market Kitchen, our signature dining experience in the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. As a member of our Food & Beverage team, you would be responsible for serving food to guests in a prompt and courteous manner while providing an outstanding guest experience. This is an excellent opportunity to work in hospitality without the late nights that most restaurant positions require.

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Performs opening and closing tasks as assigned
  2. Handles cash accurately and efficiently
  3. Possesses knowledge of menu descriptions and can effectively communicate them to guests
  4. Ensures an outstanding guest experience
  5. Interacts and communicates with guests and co-workers in a professional and friendly manner
  6. Assumes responsibility for the cleanliness of assigned areas in keeping with the Department of Health & Sanitation guidelines
  7. Adheres to department rules and policies at all times
  8. Acts as a team player
  9. Serves food in a variety of daily food services operations
  10. Performs other activities as necessary
