Food Service Associate - Part Time - Day

The Food Service Associate prepares and delivers patient meals within strict deadlines while maintaining high patient satisfaction for food and nutrition. Responsibilities include meal preparation, dishwashing, utility work, and register handling.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with diet prescriptions and patient preferences.
  • Operate register according to procedures, including close-out and deposit steps.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
  • Perform sanitation tasks like sweeping, mopping, and garbage removal.
  • Document dish machine temperatures, food temperatures, and other logs accurately.
  • Post menu boards and signage as assigned.
  • Prepare and serve food following menu and portion guides.
  • Stock stations with supplies and food items.
  • Inspect china for cleanliness and chipping.
  • Deliver and pick up food trucks and deliver meals as assigned.
  • Follow proper food handling and safety regulations, including HACCP, Aide, and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
