Job summary

HRsmart's NCBC Gulfport, MS-based Food Service Worker position handles safe contract duties, serving meals and maintaining cleanliness. You will work with cooks, dishroom, and dining room staff to ensure quality service in a federal installation.

Qualifications

• Must understand oral and/or written instructions.
• Must interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contract(s).
• Must be able to pass organization background screenings as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Set up hot and cold food serving stations.
• Serve customers properly sized portions at sufficient rates.
• Store and label food items properly.
• Clean dining room areas and replenish disposables.
• Operate dishwashing area and maintain sanitation standards.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and PPE usage.
