Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time Food Service Worker positions in Rapid City, SD. You will prepare, present and serve meals with care and accuracy, supporting patients, caregivers and the community. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour; online applications are accepted.

Schedule includes days, nights, weekends and holidays. Previous cash handling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
