Job summary

Continental is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist with food preparation, maintain the salad bar, stock supplies, and deliver excellent customer service at Detroit Diesel. The role runs Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM, and pays an hourly rate of $20.56.

Qualifications

• 1 year of food service experience required.
• Food/Beverage production knowledge for prep, serving, storing and handling.
• Mathematics: ability to add and subtract, charging appropriately.
• Suggestive selling to influence purchases.
• Customer service skills for interacting with the public.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation: assist with fruit cups, salad bar, stocking.
• Sales service: engage customers, answer questions, communicate policies.
• Cash handling: process payments, issue receipts, balance drawer.
• Teamwork: contribute to a positive team environment.
• Merchandise and sanitation: stock, rotate products, clean work areas.
