Job summary

Little General Store Inc. is hiring a Food Service Customer Service Representative to provide friendly service while preparing quality items that meet Branded Food Service standards. You will greet customers, upsell items where appropriate, and ensure products are rotated for freshness.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED, English proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You must follow safety rules, maintain cleanliness, monitor temperatures, and report equipment issues

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Food safety knowledge not required but helpful.

Responsibilities

• Acquire Food Handlers Card.
• Present a well-groomed, professional image at all times.
• Adhere to uniform dress code as required by the branded food concept.
• Greet and welcome customers with a smile.
• Upsell related items whenever appropriate.
• Monitor and rotate product to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Monitor, record, and properly dispose of all food waste.
• Prepare food items according to branded food regulations.
• Measure and weigh proper ingredients according to branded food regulations.
• Continually clean and sanitize equipment.
• Monitor temperatures on refrigeration and cooking equipment.
• Notify Manager in the event of any equipment malfunction or other problem.
• Follow Little General policies and handbook.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
