What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

As a Food Service Team Member ensuring operational excellence of IKEA Food, you will:

  1. Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to the IKEA Food concept, adhering to food handling, health, and sustainability standards.
  2. Respond to customer inquiries to support informed purchases and process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, following cash handling policies.
  3. Maintain equipment operation through adherence to operating guidelines, troubleshooting breakdowns, and conducting preventive and cleaning maintenance.
  4. Keep dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, pans, and trays clean and in compliance with Food Safety Standards.
  5. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of dining and play areas.
  6. Manage the Swedish Food Market by overseeing merchandising, pricing, stock rotation, and sanitization of sampling equipment and areas.
  7. Ensure accurate and timely price communication across all food solutions, including digital platforms, menu boards, and shelf tags.
  8. Maintain supply rotation and stocking in all IKEA Food solutions, following FIFO, expiration dates, and sustainability standards, and implementing IKEA Food policies for goods receiving and inventory.
  9. Adhere to safe food handling, workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations, reporting concerns promptly.
  10. Contribute to an environment that embraces IKEA’s culture and diversity of co-workers and customers.
Additional Information

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 34 - 40 hours per week, open availability Monday - Sunday

Salary: $17.24 - $24.58/hr, based on experience
