Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times in support of the company mission to "Run the Best Store in Town!"
2. Maintain a positive attitude; create an atmosphere of friendliness and fun through flexibility and teamwork.
3. Generate a positive, friendly, and fun working environment with a customer-first initiative by greeting and speaking to customers, providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
4. Prepare and produce quality food and products to meet or exceed customer and company expectations, including making sandwiches, assisting with the Hot Bar, slicing meats and cheese, serving food and drinks, and taking telephone orders for food and specialty cakes.
5. Keep workstation and surrounding area neat and clean (washing dishes, mopping, etc.).
6. Assist in ensuring all self-service packaged products are properly packaged with correct weights and ingredients.
7. Follow company Food Safety program.
8. Assist in stocking and proper rotation of products.
9. Be prepared to be cross-trained in multiple areas with varying responsibilities.

Qualifications

1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
2. Food service experience is a plus but not required.
3. Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands.
4. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, perform routine tasks, and interact with various individuals daily.
5. Reliable attendance during scheduled shifts.
