Job summary

Coen Markets, LLC is seeking an energetic team member for food service and guest-facing duties in our store. The role supports the Store Manager in delivering high-quality food and a welcoming guest experience while upholding food safety and company standards.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, following recipes, keeping areas clean, operating the register when needed, and ensuring in-stock levels. Part-time and full-time options with varied hours, including weekends and holidays, are

Qualifications

• High School or GED required or preferred.
• 3-6 months retail or guest service restaurant experience preferred.
• ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.
• Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests in a friendly manner to make them feel welcomed and appreciated.
• When assigned to the food service area, ensuring that the recipes and food prep procedures are followed correctly. That food is wrapped and labeled correctly.
• Ensure that food presentation and work areas are kept sparkling clean, maintain company standards, adhering to standard food safety preparation and sanitization protocols, and maintenance of equipment.
• Effectively operate the register, processing sales transactions in an efficient and friendly manner to minimize guest wait time (where applicable).
• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness the food service area.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor, including coolers and hot food cases, rotating stock and keeping product levels full so that we have what our guests’ desire and achieve the Company goal of 100% in-stock at all times.
• Lead by example in execution of Company values, programs, processes and policies.
• Other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Store Manager or person in charge in SM’s absence.

Scheduling

This position is a part time and full-time and involves working a variety of hours, day and night, asCoen Markets, LLC locations can be open 24 hours depending on the store. Weekend & Holiday hours are required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand/walk 8 hours a day; reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip and work in cooler (cold temperatures). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
